| | | General | Mr. McLain’s legal practice focuses on advising, counseling, and litigating in the areas of toxic tort/chemical exposure cases, premises liability cases, commercial disputes and insurance litigation. Mr. McLain has also assisted both lessees and lessors in a variety of matters relating to the oil and gas industry.
Prior to moving to Fort Worth and joining Cotten Schmidt in July of 2006, Mr. McLain served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Open Records Division of the Office of the Texas Attorney General. Before joining the Attorney General’s Office, Mr. McLain practiced litigation as an associate in the Law Offices of Lance K. Bruun in Corpus Christi, Texas.
For the year 2008, Mr. McLain was named a Texas Rising Star attorney by Law and Politics Media and Texas Monthly Magazine.
