| | | General | Mr. Gordon has worked on an array of legal matters including corporate and transactional work, and civil litigation, primarily from the defense perspective. His transactional work has involved the formation, reorganization, and dissolution of various business organizations, the sales and purchases of assets and ownership interests, and the preparation and review of a wide variety of business and commercial contracts, including employment and sales contracts, non-competition agreements, leases, loan documentation, and deeds of trust in real estate matters. Mr. Gordon has also assisted entities in obtaining tax-exempt status as an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Mr. Gordon’s civil litigation practice has consisted of complex and multi-party cases in the Texas State Court system and in the Federal Court system, primarily in the areas of business litigation, deceptive trade practices, personal injury, products liability, premises liability, and toxic torts. He has managed large dockets involving hundreds of cases and thousands of plaintiffs, and he has been involved in trials both in federal and state courts. | | Reported Decisions
