Mical Erin Lin is an associate attorney in The Woodlands office. Ms. Lin is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts. Ms. Lin then attended South Texas College of Law-Houston, earning her doctorate of jurisprudence in 2014. During her law school career, Ms. Lin participated and competed in both mock trial tournaments and alternative dispute resolution competitions. Ms. Lin placed first at the St. John’s Securities Dispute Resolution triathlon in New York City and was awarded second-best speaker at the Abraham Watkins Mock Trial tournament. Prior to joining Cotten Schmidt, Ms. Lin worked for Houston firms where she successfully defended individuals and companies in disputes involving employment litigation, wage and hour disputes, personal injury, premises liability, wrongful death, construction defect, and other general liability matters. Ms. Lin’s areas of concentration include employment law, commercial litigation, premises liability, personal injury defense, and appellate law. Ms. Lin is also a CLE presenter.
